monthly donors

There are a few different ways to be a monthly donor. You will be able to choose between bank draft or credit card when you go to our online donation page.

People who give at least $1,000 annually to the Alliance become members of the Hunger Advocates Council. They receive insider updates on Alliance activities and special engagement opportunities.

honor and Memorial gifts

When a memorial or honor gift is received, the Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance will send an acknowledgement to the person you designate, informing them of your gift. When you make a donation in the name of a friend or a loved one, your contribution helps us fight hunger in our state.

Business and corporate engagement

The Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance has multiple sponsorship and donation opportunities for businesses at all levels. These include event sponsorships, donations of food and supplies, and more.

Sponsorships start at $500 and go up to over $50,000 for educational programs, gardening and gleaning, special events, and other opportunities. Please contact the Development Director to learn more.

To include the Alliance in your final or legacy planning, please contact the Development Director.

We also ask that you remember the Alliance when planning the use of your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD). Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Alliance donors are allowed to take up to $300 in addition to the standard deduction in 2020.

The Alliance also readily accepts contributions of stock. For more information, contact Operations Manager Temeka Williams:

    Donating: Money or food?

Both have their place in making sure there is enough food to feed hungry Arkansans.

    Monetary donations

Every dollar you contribute can represent three meals for a person in need. Through our Donation and Purchasing programs, we are able to acquire food for far less than you can buy it in your local grocery store. Making cash donations means your dollar can buy more and do more.

    Donate a bull/cow or calf

Puede donar un toro/vaca o ternero al Proyecto de carne de vacuno de Arkansas. Meat protein is often beyond the budgets of food insecure people. We use cash donations to cover processing costs and ground beef is distributed in 1-pound bags to food pantries around the state.

    Other Donation Sources

Manufacturing, distribution, agricultural and retail businesses are important sources of much needed food as well as non-food donations. If your business is interested in making in-kind contributions, please contact the Development Director.

    Food Drives

Grocery gift card drives are a great way to help hungry Arkansans access nutrition for themselves and their families. And during the COVID-19 pandemic, grocery gift cards help the Alliance put food assistance directly in the hands of those who need it — but with minimal contact to ensure all those involved stay safe and health. If you or your organization is interested in doing a grocery gift card drive, please contact the Development Director.

There are many other ways to support the Alliance: while pumping your gas, shopping on Amazon, and more. Visit our CAUSE MARKETING page to learn more.

The safety of our staff, volunteers + supporters is of the utmost importance to the Alliance, and we are practicing CDC social distancing guidelines to help stop the spread of COVID-19. As a result, most of our special events have been cancelled or reimagined in virtual formats. As we navigate the future together, check back to our website for information on upcoming events and volunteer opportunities.
