Become an Alliance Ambassador

Are you passionate about making a positive impact in your community? Do you want to learn more about hunger solutions and gain valuable experience working with a nonprofit organization? If you’re between the ages of 18-30 and live in Central Arkansas, the Alliance has an incredible opportunity for you!

What is the Alliance Ambassadors Program?

The Alliance Ambassadors program is designed to engage young adults in meaningful service and learning experiences related to hunger and food insecurity. As an Ambassador, you’ll have the chance to:

• Learn About Hunger Solutions: Gain insights into the challenges of hunger and explore effective strategies to combat food insecurity in your community.
• Volunteer with a Nonprofit: Work alongside the Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance, a leading organization dedicated to ending hunger in Arkansas. This hands-on experience will not only enrich your understanding of the nonprofit sector but also allow you to contribute directly to the cause.
• Connect with Like-Minded Peers: Join a cohort of service-minded individuals who share your passion for making a difference. Build lasting relationships, share ideas, and work together on projects that have a real impact.

Program Details

The Ambassador program runs from October 2024 to August 2025, providing nearly a year of engagement and learning. Ambassadors are expected to attend bimonthly meetings, where you’ll participate in discussions, workshops, and planning sessions. In addition to these meetings, there will be optional learning opportunities and events throughout the year to further enhance your experience and knowledge.
