Alliance Announces 2023 Acting Out Against Hunger Honorees

Annual Awards to be Presented at Hunger Action Breakfast on September 21.

Little Rock, Arkansas— The Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance is proud to recognize the recipients of the 2023 Acting Out Against Hunger awards. These annual awards commend individuals, businesses, and organizations in Arkansas who go the extra mile addressing food insecurity within their communities. The awards will be presented during Hunger Action Breakfast on Thursday, September 21, 2023, 7:30 to 9 a.m. The event will take place at the Junior League of Little Rock, located at 401 Scott Street, Little Rock.

Hunger Action Breakfast is the centerpiece of Hunger Action Month. Every September the Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance joins six Feeding America food banks in Arkansas and hunger relief groups across the country to raise awareness about and take action against hunger. This year’s event chairs are Dr. Sid and Mary Lewis Dassinger.
